somebody up there likes me

... at least it seems that way right now

A local angel has offered to hook me up with some groceries, and my landlord promises to work with me on my rent.

Early last week my roommate skipped out, leaving me owing half of last month's rent and cutting off my utilities in the process. He has a bad crack problem and had been spending my contributions to the bills on his habit.

Last night I slept at work, but I can't keep doing that. If I get caught I'll lose my job. I was truly worried about being stuck in a trailer with tornadoes in the area, though.

I think today will be a good day. There will be plenty of prayers coming out of me, just in case.
