chickenhawks show their chicken natures
... eventually
Dubya has said emphatically that he will not meet with Iran's leader, now or in the future. Why? Because Dubya is scared of him. That's not the reason he gives, of course, but his reasoning makes less sense than my estimate: simple fear. He knows he can't beat this dude in a debate.
Last week's ridiculous display of "repetition to sell a simple and flawed idea", a.k.a. Dubya's "professionals" speech, was just sad. Why, I ask, can't today's alleged "professionals" understand Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions? Are they idiots or simply the products of Southern educational systems? They obviously didn't attend the same schools I did.
Sure, Common Article 3 seems hopelessly "vague" to Dubya; the man doesn't even read his own newspapers.
This is why I like to feel that my President is smarter than I am. I like to be able to believe that he or she will be able to comprehend, at the very least, the things that I understand. Our current sad excuse for a president fails this test every fucking day and I'm sick of it. Sick, I say!!!
