short update
Lately I've been working, still through day labor, at our local community college; moving furniture and computers, tagging new property, etc. The IT department wants me to give them a copy of my resume in preparation for a position that will be opening soon. The only real drawback to that job is that, being a state job, they only pay once a month.
Yesterday I noticed a posting for an AutoCAD user at the day labor place I deal with. I'll be giving them my resume as well.
My daughter, PFC DeKing of the United States Marine Corps, is preparing to ship out to her next post: Honolulu! She also sprang the news upon me that she will be marrying soon. Ouch.

ReplyDeleteI'm happy that you may be getting work that is more of your specialty. Any work can be worthwhile and rewarding, but you have so much expertise in your own chosen field.
