Today I met a Marine recruiter. When I told him that my daughter had just left for Parris Island, he gave me his card and said that I could stop by anytime for hats, t-shirts, etc.

I just may do that. While I didn't serve myself, I am proud of my daughter for doing her part for her (our) country.

It's too bad that I didn't buy one of those "Stryker" hats when I worked at General Dynamics. I'm proud of my own little contribution to our security.
