time flies

when your last blog posting failed

Quick update: I only have a little time here, so I'll be brief.

For the past two weeks I have been working at a lumberyard. I love the job - it's like getting paid to go to the gym - but I'm getting just above minimum wage. I need to work ten hours per day just to get through the week.

Yet I have another offer, also through the day labor firm I'm associated with. This job will pay better, will be more intellectually challenging and will allow me to use a computer. It is still a warehouse job, but they are more high-tech than the lumberyard. Also, there is far less heavy lifting there.

Gotta go. I tried to email some of you tonight, but for some reason Yahoo! won't even let me read messages, let alone send them.
