hateful people

get me out of here!

For the past two nights I've been subjected to the rants of a hateful, racist, sexist, Fundamentalist evangelist.

He wasn't on the TV. I was forced to endure his ridiculous garbage because it was required of all the residents of the house where I live. The man-in-charge likes this offensive preacher's style and message, so we had to go. Two nights in a row. Maybe even tonight, although we normally attend a different service on Wednesdays.

According to the Fundy-Man:
- TV is evil.
- All music other than Christian hymns is evil, including Christian Rock.
- People who believe in evolution are on a par with Hitler and Jeffrey Dahmer (seriously, he made this connection).
- The Bible directs us to hate (again, he really said this).
- And, of course, "Liberals are stupid." That's a direct quote.

I really, really have to get out of this place. Idiots like that guy make me want to drink a lot of beer.
