bill sez:

"Democrats win when people think." -- Bill Clinton on "The Daily Show," 09 August 2004

You tell 'em, Bill.

Jon Stewart also made some good points during the interview. Most notable was his comparison between the false information dispensed by the Bush administration prior to the war on Iraq - which has cost upward of 900 U.S. lives so far - and the "Travelgate" and "Filegate" so-called scandals that erupted during Clinton's two terms. Neither "Travelgate" nor "Filegate" cost a single human life. (No, Vince Foster doesn't count: he was not murdered and his suicide was not related to any so-called scandals.)

President Clinton has taken recently to criticism of the ChickenHawks as a part of his support for Kerry. To his credit, he includes himself when listing several individuals who chose not to participate in the Vietnam War. The most common individuals also mentioned are Bush and Cheney.
