followup on a couple of items ...

background music: Rossini, "The Barber of Seville"

I had to buy "The Barber of Seville" by Rossini. Something was pushing me to do so for years, but I finally bit the bullet.

Most Americans alive today only know "The Barber of Seville" from the Warner Brothers cartoon, "The Rabbit of Seville."

I'm not ashamed to admit that I first learned of this musical work from such a base source. Far from it; I think that it is a good message. I learned of many things from the classic Bugs Bunny cartoons; "The Barber of Seville" and Wagner's "Ring" saga for example.
